In-Person After School Programming

Throughout the school year, Girls Inc. of Columbus offers an After School Program at the Baker Center on the south side of Columbus and at the Dorothy Hyatt Center on the north side of Columbus.

Girls Inc. follows the Muscogee County School District calendar. We provide van pick-up from certain area schools and school buses drop off at our Centers. The centers are open from 2:30 pm. until 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. We also are open from 8:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. on teacher planning days and during holiday breaks and Spring Break at no additional charge.

Girls Inc. of Columbus and Phenix-Russell is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to inspiring all girls to be strong, smart, and bold. No girl is ever turned away because of financial hardship. After School, Summer, and Sports Program Scholarships are awarded based on demonstrated financial need, and household income verification is required. Girls Inc. will never deny any girl the opportunity to participate in our programs because of financial constraints.
